Catherine M. Noga, 60, of Erie, IL died Monday, November 28, 2005, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Catherine Mary Bell was born August 10, 1945, in Winterset, the daughter of Joseph and Veronica Harkin Bell. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Noga of Erie, IL; a daughter, Mary Theilen of Sun Prairie, WI; four sons, John Noga of Northridge, CA; Robert Noga of Prole; David Noga of Urbandale and Michael Noga of Hamilton, OH; her mother, Veronica Bell of Prole; 7 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Therese Eldred of Apple Valley, MN; Lucille White of St. Charles; Loretta Foley of Winterset and Barbara Shutt of Grimes, and 4 brothers, Joseph Bell of Cascade; Patrick Bell of St. Charles; Robert Bell of St. Charles, and Thomas Bell of Norwalk. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bell. Catherine’s marriage to Thomas Noga took place on April 6, 1968 at the Assumption Catholic Church, Churchville. She retired in January 2005 as the Erie, Illinois Postmaster; and she previously was employed as Postmaster at Hillsdale, IL. Catherine was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Erie, IL. She was a certified Master Gardener and enjoyed making and giving handmade crafts.

Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday December 2, 2005 at Assumption Catholic Church in Churchville, IA

Memorial: 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday with a Vigil following at 7:30 p.m. December 1, 2005 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
